What to consider when purchasing a Ragdoll

Searching for the most 'perfect' Ragdoll and its breeder is not easy. Fortunately, there are several tips to consider. Hopefully, the information on this site will help you make an informed choice

The wish has been expressed; 'you want a Ragdoll as a pet.' Don't rush into it, and consider that getting a cat is a decision for many years, and everyone wants a sweet, stable, and above all, healthy companion.

We only breed with tested parents who tested negative for PKD, HCM, CIN, FIV, and FeLV through blood and ultrasound examinations.

We conduct a stool PCR test twice a year for all our cats for parasites, Giardia, worms, and bacteria, among others. The kittens also undergo a stool test to relocate parasite- and worm-free demonstrably. The kittens are titered/vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and chipped. A specialized veterinarian examines the kittens, and they receive a passport. All these tests are costly, but the health of the kittens is our top priority.
We feed our Ragdolls with 100% raw and organic meat. The kittens are accustomed to kibble from the brand Kivo, which is entirely natural and grain-free.

Additionally, we also give nutritional supplements such as multivitamins and omega 3 and 6 oil, among others. We are also affiliated with the world's largest cat organization, TICA, and the BCF. These cat organizations have strict rules and requirements that we adhere to.

Breeding cats responsibly requires a tremendous amount of dedication, time, energy, and also involves significant costs. A responsible breeder is willing to invest all of that for the well-being of their animals and the preservation of the breed they work with.
